Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 28, 2024) – The annual Drinking Water Quality Report from City Utilities has been mailed or emailed, depending on how customers receive their bill, and will arrive soon.
The report covers the 2023 year and is prepared and distributed as state and federal regulators require. In addition to being sent to every water customer of City Utilities, the report is available online in English, Spanish and Burmese. Anyone desiring additional copies may call 427-1234.
City Utilities’ chemists conduct extensive tests on water for more than 120 substances at all stages in the water treatment process. The annual report showcases the results for several substances regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). This thorough testing, along with our employees’ continuous adjustments to the treatment process, ensures that the water leaving the Plant is safe and great tasting.
