City splash pads to close for the season

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation announces that residents and visitors can enjoy the Park’s splash pads until Sunday, October 6, 2024.

City Splash Pads to Close for the Season

Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 13, 2024) – Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation announces that the Water Rill at Promenade Park will close for the season on Monday, September 16. Residents and visitors can enjoy the remaining eight splash pads until Sunday, October 6.

Splash pads are located at the following parks and available beginning at 9:00 a.m.to 9 p.m. with the exception of the Robert E. Meyers Park, see below.

  • Buckner Park: 6114 Bass Road
  • Franklin School Park: 1903 St. Marys Avenue
  • Kreager Park (Taylor’s Dream): 7225 North River Road
  • McCormick Park: 2300 Raymond Avenue & Holly Avenue
  • Memorial Park: 2301 Maumee Avenue & Glasgow Avenue
  • Robert E. Meyers Park (Inside the north side of Parkview Field on Jefferson Boulevard) Hours: Monday through Friday on days with no scheduled events
  • Shoaff Park: 6401 St. Joe Road
  • Waynedale Park: 2900 Koons Street & Elzey Street
