FWPD: Shooting Investigation, three victims

On May 5, 2024, at 15:13 hours, Fort Wayne Police Department officers were dispatched to two local hospitals reference three shootings that appear, at this time, to have been related.

Locations: the intersection of North Clinton Street and East Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana

Time: 15:13 hours

Details:

Fort Wayne Police Department officers were dispatched to two local hospitals reference three shootings that appear, at this time, to have been related. One of the victims’ status is listed as life-threatening and the other two victims’ conditions are determined to be none-life-threatening per ER staffs.

Officers are on scene near the N. Clinton St. and E. Washington Ctr. intersection where several bullet casings have been discovered. Detectives are working to determine if that scene is related to the three victims. Currently, there are no suspects in custody. There is no information, presently, of what precipitated the shootings.

This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
