On January 13, 2024, at about 02:00 hours, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting located in the 4900 block of Vance Avenue, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
On January 13, 2024, at about 02:00 hours, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting located in the 4900 block of Vance Avenue, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The victim was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin of Christopher Izekiel Easton, male, Black, 15 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Christopher Izekiel Easton is the 2nd Homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
