Allen County Coroner’s office news release:
On June 10, 2020 the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of the death of Crystal C. Holmes, female black 48 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Crystal C. Holmes was the victim involved in the stabbing investigation in the 2100 block of Hobson Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The decedent was transported from the scene to a local hospital. Death was pronounced at the hospital.
The autopsy has been completed and the next of kin has been notified of the death. The Cause of Death is Stab Wound of the Chest and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Crystal C. Holmes is the 19th homicide for Allen County for 2020.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
