News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, 3812 Lillie Street
(April 19, 2015) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to 3812 Lillie Street on a fire in the home. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the home.
2 adults and 2 children were home at the time of the fire all 4 were outside the home when Firefighter arrived. One of the adults was suffering from smoke inhalation and was transported to the hospital by the TRAA Medics in fair condition. The 2 children were transported to the hospital by family members as a precaution. It is unknown if any of the victims were admitted to the hospital.
The fire is under investigation.
The Fire Department was assisted by TRAA, AEP, NIPSCO, Fort Wayne Police Department and Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code.
