Residential structure fire at 1517 Faulkner Court
(March 15, 2015) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a residential structure fire at 1517 Faulkner Court. The first engine arrived in five minutes and found smoke coming from the front of the house. The crew went inside for fire attack while other crews searched the home and checked for fire extension in the attic.
The two occupants who were home at the time of the fire escaped before the fire department arrived, alerted by smoke detectors. No injuries were reported.
The fire department was assisted by NIPSCO, AEP, Fort Wayne Police, Neighborhood code and the Red Cross was called to assist the occupants.
