Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Cold night in store across the region
(October 18, 2014) – The low pressure system will move away from the region as an area of high pressure moves in from Canada. This high pressure will usher in cold, dry air. Temperatures are expected to drop to around the freezing mark tonight. The wind will also become light to calm. Therefore a freeze warning has been issued for the eastern two thirds of the County Warning Area (CWA) and a frost advisory for the western third of the CWA. Tomorrow will be sunny and cool under the dome of high pressure.
