USF Rev. David T. Link lecture – 10/22/2014
(October 13, 2014) – The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Saint Francis invites you to a Special Event on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 pm. Rev. David T. Link, Joseph A. Matson Dean Emeritus and Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Notre Dame Law School will present “Serving the Least, the Last, the Lost, and the Lonely.” In his 24 years as dean of the Notre Dame Law School, Dr. Link spoke and wrote extensively about professional responsibility for attorneys and taught ethics to all first-year law students. Now, the Rev. David T. Link is Assistant Director of Religious Services for the Northern Region of the Indiana Department of Correction. A chaplain at the Indiana State Prison, he ministers to inmates. His life is the subject of a book, “Camerado, I Give You My Hand: How a Powerful Lawyer-Turned-Priest Is Changing the Lives of Men Behind Bars,” written by Maura Poston Zagrans. The book will be available for purchase before and after the lecture.
The lecture will be held on the campus of University of Saint Francis in the North Campus Auditorium, 2702 Spring Street, Fort Wayne, IN. This free public presentation is co-sponsored by the St. Thomas More Society of Fort Wayne and the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences of the University of Saint Francis.
