News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:
Update: Death Investigation – 2700 Millbrook Drive
A large amount of narcotics was discovered at the scene of the investigation, and it is believed at this time that this incident is drug-related. Detectives have yet to identify a third person, a male, who was seen fleeing the apartment home. His role in this incident remains under investigation.
The female victim was in a neighboring apartment when shots were fired. She was struck in the hand by a projectile that came through her apartment wall. She was listed in fair condition at the scene.

This is an ongoing investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s office. There is nothing further at this time.
