Police Action Shooting Investigation
Date/Time of Incident: June 23, 2012 / 9:03 pm
Location of Incident: S. Hanna Street and E. Leith Street
Suspect: Micquail L. Thomas, age 18, Fort Wayne; remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Charges are pending.
Involved Officer: Officer Anthony M. Shefferly
Commissioned October 2007 with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department
Officer Shefferly remains on administrative leave at this time.
There is nothing further at this time. This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
