Bunche students celebrate the Earth
The Larry Ford Trio, Allen County Waste Management and ACWATER will visit Bunche Early Childhood Center from noon-1:45 p.m. for a fine arts day with a recycling theme. The session begins with an assembly featuring the Larry Ford Trio performing on “recycled” instruments. Students will then have an opportunity to visit various stations, including the “recycled rhythms” station. Kira Blacketor, from Allen County Waste Management, will then present a a program called “How long does trash last?” Matt Jones from ACWATER will offer his kid-friendly presentation concerning water conservation.Sen. Fourth- and fifth-graders at Scott Academy will work with Sen. Richard Lugar’s staff members to plant flowers at their school. The staff members will visit the school at 11:30 a.m.
