I was thinking this was on the horizon, but in fact, it was last Tuesday, April 21st 2009. Â The website is very careful to note that the Cornucopia signage was NOT being auctioned. Â No update on how it went. Â The listing and photos may be found here, while it lasts.
For the record, CLA Sales was also the auctioneer for The Palace Restaurant in March 13, 2007. Â The Palace was demolished to make way for the parking deck, part of Harrison Square.
