The Harrison – half gone

According to an article in this morning's Journal Gazette, 31 of the available 62 condos have had deposits placed on them.  "We have been overwhelmed by the demand."  Bill Martin, CEO of Martin Goldstine Knapke stated.  "It confirms eveything we suspected about people's desire to be a part of this exciting project."

The Harrison, Updated Site Plan and New Webcam

The new name given to the Retail/Condominium building to be built along Jefferson Boulevard.  I've added three pages with information: Artist Renderings (updated 11/28/2007) Floorplans Overview and Amenities Martin Goldstine Knapke began taking deposits for the units Friday morning.  No word yet on exactly how many units have been spoken for, although it was reported on WANE-15 that several people have deposited money...

Harrison Square Groundbreaking Thursday

According to this morning's Journal Gazette and Benjamin Lanka, the Harrison Square Groundbreaking will be Thursday morning at 11:30 AM at the corner of Jefferson Boulevard and Webster Street.  That's all the available details for now. 

Harrison Square Walkway Approval

Approval was given to the Harrison Square Walkway proposal today at the Redevelopment Commission and Local Historic Preservation Board's meetings.  The walkway will enter the building as shown here: Highlights: The Goldstine Foundation will give $550,000 for costs of the project. Harrison Square Walkway Meetings and Press

The Journal Gazette and News-Sentinel printed articles on Thursday regarding the walkway agreement. Also, just a reminder that two meetings regarding the walkway will be held Monday: The Redevelopment Commission Meeting is Monday, November 26, 2007 in room 810 in the City-County Building at 4 PM.  The Local Historic Preservation Board will meet in the Omni Room at 5:30 PM in the City-County Building.
