Winter thaw to continue<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 24, 2021) – Despite the above-freezing temperatures, plenty of water remains in the snowpack. Overnight lows dropping below freezing and highs on Thursday in the upper-30s will help slow the release temporarily. Warmer weather returns Friday and through the weekend when highs could reach 50 degrees. Ice on area rivers, lakes and ponds will continue to thin and break up with unsafe conditions to persist for ice fishing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
