The Rescue Mission and Indiana Wesleyan ready to launch Bridge Initiative<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 7, 2021) \u2013 The Rescue Mission and Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) are ready to launch their new educational opportunities with the Bridge Initiative to Mission residents, employees, associates, and those in the community. Under the agreement, IWU will offer discounted tuition rates for their church partnership program.<\/p>\n

Matt Lucas, Chancellor at IWU – National & Global said, \u201cThe Fort Wayne Rescue Mission excels at the second chance and providing a strong foundation for those who want to start over. By working together, we can empower people to restart and sustain a new life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The partnership will offer reduced rates for students enrolled in 24-30 credit hours yearly. The total tuition discount due to this partnership will be approximately 37%. The partnership is intended to help Mission residents begin or complete their education while giving them an affordable platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very excited to partner with IWU to help those who truly need it, get their degrees,\u201d said Donovan Coley, CEO of The Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. \u201cThis entire partnership offers excellent education resources and opportunities to encourage people to further their calling.\u201d<\/p>\n

The partnership discounts apply to anyone in the community who registers through the Rescue Mission-Indiana Wesleyan portal. Those interested may register for the upcoming Summer Semester beginning in June.<\/p>\n
