{"id":9405,"date":"2009-12-28T23:28:13","date_gmt":"2009-12-29T04:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/?p=9405"},"modified":"2009-12-28T23:28:13","modified_gmt":"2009-12-29T04:28:13","slug":"banner-photo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/2009\/12\/28\/banner-photo\/","title":{"rendered":"Banner photo"},"content":{"rendered":"ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>The current banner photo was taken this past Sunday, December 27, 2009 from the Historic Wells Street \u00c2\u00a0Bridge.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the frequent problems experienced with selecting photos for the banner are that sometimes visually pleasing elements have to be cropped out. \u00c2\u00a0Such was the case with this photo.<\/p>\n<p>What struck me about this view when I saw it \u00c2\u00a0Sunday, was the whites and grays with a brown river down the center. \u00c2\u00a0It was visually pleasing. \u00c2\u00a0Unfortunately, the cropped banner photo doesn&#8217;t do the view justice. \u00c2\u00a0Hopefully this will explain a bit more why I chose this particular image.<\/p>\n<h3>Related Images:<\/h3><div class=\"ngg-related-gallery\">\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/gallery\/blog-headers\/2009_02_12_header.jpg\"\n\t\t\ttitle=\"The St. Mary&#039;s River and Headwaters Park during February flooding.
