House fire, Oneida Street<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(December 6, 2020) – Fort Wayne Firefighters responded to a residential structure fire at 1415 Oneida on December 6, 2020, at 2:37 pm.<\/p>\n

The first units arrived in 3 minutes and found smoke coming from the home. Firefighters conducted an interior fire attack with a simultaneous aggressive search for occupants. Firefighters found a fire in the living room of the home, as well as one occupant who had perished. The fire was limited to the living room and under control in 8 minutes. <\/p>\n

Fort Wayne Fire Investigators will remain on the scene, investigating the fire. <\/p>\n

Fort Wayne firefighters were assisted on the scene by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, Neighborhood Code Enforcement, Indiana Michigan Power, and NIPSCO. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
