Parkview receives award for information technology initiative<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Parkview Health was recently recognized with a Picis 2009 Customer Recognition Award. The award recognizes innovative and successful healthcare information technology initiatives. Awards were announced last week at the Picis Results Talk Workshop in Cambridge, Mass. The awards distinguish hospitals that are using Picis solutions to improve an organization’s clinical, financial and operational performance in the emergency department, operating room or intensive care units.<\/p>\n

Parkview was commended for using Picis to improve patient care results. Picis is used in all critical care areas throughout the Parkview Health system to document patient assessment data.<\/p>\n

Parkview was one of six healthcare organizations from across the country to be recognized.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
