Details<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

On Saturday, December 12th at approximately 7:20 pm, a Fort Wayne Officer was routinely patrolling the area of The Coliseum Inn hotel at 1020 North Coliseum Boulevard when he was flagged down by an adult male who told him that he\u2019d been shot. The victim reportedly told the officer he knew who shot him while he was inside room 319. The officer did find the victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics arrived and treated the victim who was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. Once he arrived at the hospital, doctors found his injuries to be life-threatening. <\/p>\n

A person of interest was detained near the scene and is currently being interviewed by Fort Wayne Police Detectives. This incident is still currently under investigation.
