No Public Swearing-In Ceremony for County Elected Officials<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(November 18, 2020) \u2014 A public swearing-in ceremony for newly elected Allen County officials will not take place in 2020.<\/p>\n

The ceremony is traditionally held at the Allen County Courthouse on or around December 31 following each November general election. But due to the worsening COVID-19 pandemic, the decision was made to forego a public event this year.<\/p>\n

Those elected to serve in a county office in November will need to make their own arrangements for administration of the oath of office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
