{"id":7923,"date":"2009-10-19T01:40:26","date_gmt":"2009-10-19T05:40:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/?p=7923"},"modified":"2009-10-19T01:40:26","modified_gmt":"2009-10-19T05:40:26","slug":"gaming-study-committee-hearing-10192009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/2009\/10\/19\/gaming-study-committee-hearing-10192009\/","title":{"rendered":"Gaming Study Committee hearing &#8211; 10\/19\/2009"},"content":{"rendered":"ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>Today marks the third and final <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/legislative\/interim\/committee\/gsco.html\">Gaming Study Committee<\/span> hearing in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The hearing begins at 10am in the State House at Indianapolis. \u00c2\u00a0The agenda may be <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/legislative\/interim\/committee\/notices\/GSCOCAJ.pdf\">downloaded here<\/span> and you may listen and watch the proceedings live on the <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/mediaserver.ihets.org\/senate431\">world wide web here<\/span>. \u00c2\u00a0Topics to be discussed include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competition from out-of-state gaming facilities and tribal operated gaming facilities<\/li>\n<li>Land-based gaming\/maintenance of Coast Guard compliant navigation systems at riverboat casinos<\/li>\n<li>Public reporting requirements for recipients of payments under riverboat casino local development agreements<\/li>\n<li>French Lick Casino issues, including modification of trust payments and\u00c2\u00a0subsidies\u00c2\u00a0paid by other gaming facilities<\/li>\n<li>Horse Racing Purses and Breed Development<\/li>\n<li>Ft. Wayne gaming referendum and issues relating to a Ft.
