We hope they will stay with us for the new date in September,\u201d said Matt Gratz, Solid Waste Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals, families and groups can register for the September event at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoffortwayne.org\/great-american-clean-up.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.cityoffortwayne.org\/great-american-clean-up.html<\/a> or by calling 427-1345.<\/p>\n<p>The Great American Cleanup\u2122 is the country&#8217;s largest beautification and community improvement effort. Nationwide, there were more than three million volunteers last year. Fort Wayne\u2019s clean-up efforts focus on neighborhoods, vacant lots, trails and greenways, streets, roads, and our rivers, and includes graffiti removal.
