Gov. Holcomb Supports ISDH, Eli Lilly COVID-19 Testing Partnership<\/strong>
\nGovernor Announces Additional Actions to Respond to COVID-19<\/em><\/p>\n

INDIANAPOLIS (March 18, 2020) \u2014 Governor Eric J. Holcomb offered the following statement after the announcement of the new partnership between the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) and Eli Lilly and Company, with support from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), to accelerate testing in Indiana for COVID-19.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis partnership between the Indiana State Department of Health and Eli Lilly and Company will be transformational in our efforts to accelerate testing for COVID-19,\u201d Gov. Holcomb said. \u201cWe are grateful for Lilly\u2019s dedication to the health and safety of Hoosiers as we continue to put all of our focus into slowing the spread.\u201d <\/p>\n

Lilly will use its research laboratories to analyze samples taken in Indiana healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and emergency rooms, in an effort to increase the state\u2019s ability to conduct testing for COVID-19.
