News release from the Allen County Coroner:<\/p>\n

Coroner ID’s Roseview Homicide victim<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted by a local hospital and advised of the death of Diquan Q. Meriwether, a male, black, age 19, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Diquan Q. Meriwether was the victim of a shooting that occurred in the 2800 of Abbott Street, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.<\/p>\n

The Autopsy has been completed and the next of kin has been notified. <\/p>\n

Cause of Death has been determined to be Gunshot Wound of Chest and the Manner of Death is Homicide.<\/p>\n

Diquan Q. Meriwether is the 2nd Homicide in Allen County for 2020.<\/p>\n

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
