This week motorists will notice improved traffic flow.<br \/>\nLatest updates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intermediate asphalt is complete and two eastbound lanes of traffic will open the afternoon of December 19<\/li>\n<li>Traffic signal goes live the afternoon of December 19, at the intersection of La Cabreah Lane\/Dawson&#8217;s Creek Boulevard and Dupont Road<\/li>\n<li>Two lanes for westbound traffic will open December 22 with intermediate asphalt in place<\/li>\n<li>New water main is now connected to area homes and businesses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Intermediate asphalt is the sub-surface that will be in place through the winter until the final paving occurs next year.<br \/>\nThe improvements to Dupont will enhance safety for motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians between Lima Road and Coldwater Road. Enhancements include expanding the road to four lanes,  a turn lane, a sidewalk on the north side of the road and a trail on the south side of the road.
