Wednesday afternoon, Julia Meek signed her epic ‘Share the Experience’ mural on the side of Hyde Bros. Books.<\/p>\n

It has been great fun watching this mural come to life. \u00c2\u00a0It is truly something that will be cherished in Fort Wayne for many decades to come! \u00c2\u00a0I must also admit that a wonderful friendship has begun which I hope will continue for many decades as well!<\/p>\n

I video taped Julia signing the mural and even though we didn’t rehearse it or even discuss the possibility of it, we launched right into an interview. \u00c2\u00a0I left in some of our banter because I think it shows the true spirit of this great artist!<\/p>\n

HYDE BROTHER’S MURAL UNVEILING<\/p>\n

Hyde Brother’s Book Store will celebrate the completion of its 75 foot exterior mural, “The Fort Wayne Story: Share the Experience” with its official unveiling, on Thursday, September 17th, at 6:30 pm.<\/p>\n

This mega-work, by Fort Wayne artist Julia Meek, was commissioned by Sam Hyde, as part of the city’s Fa\u00c3\u00a7ade Grant Program project.<\/p>\n

Please join us Thursday evening, for a “tour” of this spectacular city-scape, and a visit w\/ the artist and store owner, and share the experience!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
