Because of the depth of the main, it is unknown at this time how serious the leak is and how much time may be needed to make a repair. <\/p>\n<p>Drivers who use West Jefferson may want to find an alternate route this afternoon and this evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Parkwest complex and several other businesses and medical offices in the area are without water. Jefferson Pointe shopping center is not affected.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A while later, the following was received:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Water main repaired on Jefferson<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Water service restored, lanes reopened to traffic by 6:30<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fort Wayne City Utilities has repaired a water main break on West Jefferson Boulevard. Service to customers in the 3800 to 4700 blocks of West Jefferson should be restored by 6:30 tonight.
