The TinCaps lost tonight to the South Bend Silver Hawks, 12-7.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

While it’s disappointing to the team, it’s good news to those fans who aren’t quite ready to say goodbye to Parkview Field for the year. \u00c2\u00a0I will also say that the fireworks show tonight was probably the best ever. \u00c2\u00a0I counted at least 4 moments when it felt like the finale, only to see another set start again.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the wind was from the east and blew the smoke and fallout into the section of the ballpark I was in. \u00c2\u00a0I now smell like gun powder and need a shower.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow’s game begins at 7:05 pm at Parkview Field.<\/p>\n

If the TinCaps win tomorrow, they’ll advance to round two of the playoffs. \u00c2\u00a0If they lose, it will close the books on a historic inaugural season for Parkview Field and the best season ever for the franchise.<\/p>\n
