Joe&#8217;s Army Surplus Store along Wells Street.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>G.I. Joe&#8217;s participated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/?tag=commercial-facade-grant-program\/\">City&#8217;s Commercial Facade Grant program<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0The program matched the investment G.I. Joe&#8217;s put into their new fa\u00c3\u00a7ade.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>After the renovations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once this was completed, according to Shawna Nicelley, the inside of the store had been opened so much to the outside light, they decided to work on the interior work. \u00c2\u00a0This interior work was not eligible for coverage under the grant. \u00c2\u00a0The point of this is that the CFG program spurred additional investment by G.I. Joe&#8217;s into their building. \u00c2\u00a0So the $10,000 investment by the City, turned into $30,000 after G.I.
