Bank Robbery<\/strong><\/p>\n

Date<\/strong>: Wednesday, October 26, 2016<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Salin Bank, 6433 East State Boulevard<\/p>\n

Details<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the bank alarm at approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning at the Salin Bank located at 6433 East State Boulevard. On arrival it was learned that a female white wearing a black hooded sweatshirt or coat with the hood pulled up over her head, a black scarf partially concealing her face, medium to heavy set frame, 5’6″ tall, blonde hair with plastic grocery shopping bags over each of her hands entered the bank and demanded cash. She was successful in getting an undisclosed amount of cash and then left the scene northbound on foot. A search of the immediate resulted in the discovery of the black scarf. A K9 track was attempted but was terminated at a spot where it is believed a getaway car was parked.<\/p>\n

There were patrons in the bank at the time of the robbery. No weapon was ever displayed. This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
