The six-minute video is the final installment in the Vision for the Embassy series. The Embassy Theatre released the series as a way to document its construction project. The video is at <a href=\"https:\/\/fwembassytheatre.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.fwembassytheatre.org<\/a> on the Embassy Updates page.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Honoring Tradition &amp; Strengthening Community&#8221; features Tom Henry, Fort Wayne mayor, discussing the Embassy&#8217;s role in shaping downtown&#8217;s economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>The video also includes an interview with Kelly Updike, Embassy executive director; Cody Michaud, project manager of Weigand Construction; and Jeremy M. Ogle, projecct architect with Moake Park Group.<\/p>\n<p>This is the sixth video in a series recording the historic renovation project, which began the summer of 2014 in the former Indiana Hotel. Construction was completed in early spring 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The Embassy contracted with Punch Films for this work and the videos are sponsored by Weigand Construction, which also is the construction firm for the Vision project. All six are available for viewing online. Each documents elements that went into the construction.<\/p>\n<p>The Vision for the Embassy campaign raised its goal of $10 million, including $1.7 million from Regional Cities funding from the Northeast Indiana Regional Development Authority and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Embassy Theatre<\/strong><br \/>\nBuilt in 1928, the historic Embassy Theatre features national productions from the Broadway stage, concerts of all musical formats, cinema, educational programming and a continued commitment to young people.
