Fall “Commissioners’ Night Out” events set<\/strong>
\nThree October Meetings Planned<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Allen County Commissioners’ Office today announced the dates and locations for the three “Commissioners’ Night Out” meetings to be held this fall. Citizens will have an opportunity during the public forums to meet the Commissioners face-to-face, give their input on issues important to them and learn about the workings of County government. All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The first meeting<\/strong> for residents of northwest Allen County will be Tuesday, October 6, at the
\nAllen County Fairgrounds McComb Building, 2726 Carroll Road.<\/p>\n

The second meeting<\/strong> will take place at North Side High School, 475 E. State Boulevard, on
\nThursday, October 15.<\/p>\n

The final meeting<\/strong> for residents of southwest Allen County is set for Tuesday, October 20, at the
\nAboite Township Community Center, 11321 Aboite Center Road.<\/p>\n

This is the fifth year that the Board of Commissioners has offered the town hall-style meetings,
\nbut the first year that meetings are being held during both the spring and fall seasons. “Making
\ngovernment more accessible to the people is why we expanded the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcCommissioners’ Night Out’
\nprogram,” said Commissioner Bill Brown. “We are pleased to be offering our citizens these
\nadditional opportunities to meet with us.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
