The plan outlines what the community priorities are for these funds, and the various projects which will be supported by them.  Each year, the City is required to update the Consolidated Plan with an Annual Action Plan. <\/p>\n<p>All HUD dollars must be used to improve the quality of life for low- to moderate-income residents. Over the five-year period, it is anticipated the City&#8217;s Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services will receive approximately $14 million in HUD funding, which will leverage much more in private investments.<\/p>\n<p>The public is encouraged to look through the plans and learn more about the anticipated projects and programs the City will support through its HUD dollars in the coming years. The plans will continue to be updated throughout the comment period as input is provided by stakeholders and the public.<\/p>\n<p>Comments regarding the reports, compiled by the City&#8217;s Office of Housing &amp; Neighborhood Services, will be accepted in writing now through July 15, 2016. Residents may email feedback about the plans to ohns@cityoffortwayne.org or mail their comments to Attn: Consolidated Plan, Citizens Square, 200 E. Berry St., Suite 320, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Input received from the public will be included in the final plans that the City submits to HUD.<\/p>\n<p>Draft copies of the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan are available for review online at www.fwcommunitydevelopment.org\/consolidatedplan. They are also available to read in hard copy during normal business hours at the Pontiac Branch of the Allen County Public Library, 2215 S. Hanna St., and at the front desk of the City&#8217;s Community Development offices, 200 E.
