TinCaps to Give 3,000,000th Fan Chance to Win $3 Million<\/strong>
\nStrong 2016 Attendance Builds to 3,000,000th Fan at Parkview Field<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(June 17, 2016) \u00e2\u20ac\u201d The Fort Wayne TinCaps are going to give one lucky fan at Parkview Field the chance to walk away with $3,000,000 as the team counts down to their 3,000,000th fan. This promotion will mark the TinCaps potentially welcoming their 3,000,000th fan to a TinCaps game at Parkview Field before the end of this current homestand.<\/p>\n

“It’s a true testament to the support of this community,” said TinCaps President Mike Nutter. “We had so much fun celebrating our 1,000,000th fan back in 2011 and 2,000,000th fan in 2013 that we wanted to up the ante for 3,000,000.”<\/p>\n

Through nearly 7\u00c2\u00bd seasons at Parkview Field, the TinCaps currently stand at 2,988,803 in attendance, just 11,197 away from the 3,000,000 milestone. With home games yet to play this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the team estimates that the 3,000,000th fan will enter the ballpark at some point within the next three games.<\/p>\n

On the game that the TinCaps break the 3,000,000th fan milestone, one lucky fan will be chosen at random from all fans in attendance of that game. That fan will participate for the $3,000,000 immediately following the game.<\/p>\n

“We will reveal more details on the night of the milestone game. Part of the fun of this promotion is the element of surprise,” Nutter said. “We can say that the TinCaps’ 3,000,000th fan can be from 2 to 102 years old and still have a chance at taking home the $3 million jackpot. You won’t have to hit a home run or throw 100 miles per hour.” <\/p>\n

Anyone present at the milestone game, with a valid TinCaps ticket, will be eligible to be selected as the 3,000,000th fan.<\/p>\n

“It gives a whole new meaning to \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcmust be present to win,'” Nutter said. “It’s fun to think that our three millionth fan could walk out of Parkview Field that night a multi-millionaire. We hope it happens and can’t wait to see who ends up with the opportunity. Good luck!”<\/p>\n
