This phase of construction will be followed by narrow lanes near the interchange and the placement of temporary barrier wall. This will facilitate the extension of the ramp lane from I-469 westbound to I-69 southbound, which will allow for safer merging onto I-69.<\/p>\n<p>Later this summer, INDOT contractors will resurface approximately five miles of I-69, between mile marker 295 and mile marker 300, as well as install a pipe liner near the interchange.<\/p>\n<p>A construction zone speed limit of 55 mph will be strictly enforced and INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through an active work zone. <\/p>\n<p>Work on the I-469\/I-69 interchange, the I-69 resurface and pipe liner installation is expected to last through late fall.
