Parks and Recreation Department Announces Change in the Forestry Department<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(May 23, 2016) \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll today announced that Chad Tinkel, Superintendent of Urban Forestry, has accepted a position with American Electric Power (AEP) and will be leaving the Parks & Recreation Department on June 3. <\/p>\n

Derek Veit, a certified arborist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry from Purdue University, will be promoted to the position of Superintendent of Urban Forestry and City Arborist. Derek has worked for the Parks & Recreation Department for 11 years.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
