{"id":6168,"date":"2009-08-05T23:50:54","date_gmt":"2009-08-06T03:50:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/?p=6168"},"modified":"2021-01-24T20:08:21","modified_gmt":"2021-01-25T01:08:21","slug":"tincaps-game-tonight-300000-mark-near","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/2009\/08\/05\/tincaps-game-tonight-300000-mark-near\/","title":{"rendered":"TinCaps game photos from tonight; 300,000 mark near!"},"content":{"rendered":"ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>The TinCaps played the Lansing Lugnuts tonight and defeated them 6-4. \u00c2\u00a0This puts the TinCaps at 75-34 overall, with the second half at 30-9.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I went to the game tonight purely as a spectator without any agenda or schedule. \u00c2\u00a0However, the beautiful sunset would not allow the camera to remain in the bag. \u00c2\u00a0Unfortunately, I did not have my tripod, but the photos still came out pretty good. \u00c2\u00a0A selection of photos follows.<\/p>\n<p>But before the photos, let me share some information with you.<\/p>\n<p>With tonight&#8217;s attendance, the TinCaps are poised to break the 300,000 mark tomorrow evening. \u00c2\u00a0The attendance to date is 299,023, this includes Wednesday&#8217;s game. \u00c2\u00a0The regular tickets for tomorrow&#8217;s game are sold out. \u00c2\u00a0A limited quantity of\u00c2\u00a0SRO tickets are available. \u00c2\u00a0The TinCaps are going for another attendance record tomorrow night. \u00c2\u00a0Tomorrow evening also happens to be the <a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/2009\/07\/31\/celebrate-all-america-city-award-at-thursdays-tincaps-game-862009\/\">All-America celebration<\/a> and Thirsty Thursday. \u00c2\u00a0A short video about Fort Wayne and it&#8217;s All-America win as well as fireworks will conclude the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday night should be a great experience!!<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n<h3>Related Images:<\/h3><div class=\"ngg-related-gallery\">\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/gallery\/wells\/81643.jpg\"\n\t\t\ttitle=\"Judi Wire, WCBA President, displays one of the &quot;Tin Caps&quot;.
