The event is free and open to the public and suitable for all ages.<\/p>\n<p>The event will allow residents to learn about the birds and plants along Fort Wayne&#8217;s downtown rivers, with an emphasis on migratory birds, waterfowl, resident birds, riverine flora and invasive species. The naturalist-led walk will be held from 8 to 9 a.m., followed by a 90-minute leisurely paced bicycle ride led by Fort Wayne Trails. <\/p>\n<p>Participants may attend one or both activities. This event will be held rain or shine, but will be canceled in the event of severe weather. Check the Fort Wayne Trails Facebook page for weather notifications.<\/p>\n<p>Future nature walks will take place on the first Sunday of the month, May through October. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Riverfront Fort Wayne<\/strong><br \/>\nRiverfront Fort Wayne hosts regular programs and events as part of a three-part effort to build support for revitalizing the downtown riverfront.
