Mayor’s Senior Advisory Council to hold free Senior Workshop, August 10th<\/strong>
\nProfessionals to cover estate, funeral planning plus Medicaid rules, aging in place, living wills<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Joining members of the Mayor’s Senior Advisory Council, Mayor Tom Henry announced a free workshop for seniors featuring local professionals to cover topics of importance to many seniors and their families.<\/p>\n

“This workshop is specifically designed to cover information important to one of Fort Wayne’s growing populations: senior citizens. These are often complex issues, and it can be difficult to find a single resource to cover the diversity of topics this session will address,” Mayor Henry said. “I give my sincere thanks to the presenters and the entire Mayor’s Senior Advisory Council for putting together this important workshop.”<\/p>\n

The free session will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 10 in the Omni Room, with free parking in the parking garage attached to the City-County Building. No RSVP is needed, but for more information, call 427-1120.<\/p>\n
