(March 17, 2016) \u00e2\u20ac\u201d DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. (DMA), a corporate tax consulting company, today announced plans to invest more than $2.5 million to relocate and expand its North American headquarters, creating up to 43 new jobs over the next five years.<\/p>\n

The company’s new positions will include executives, back office operations, consultants and technology developers. These jobs will require advanced degrees and will appeal. to high-skilled, highly-educated professionals. Relocation is anticipated to occur this summer to the company’s new space in the Ash Skyline Plaza in downtown Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n

“The new Ash Skyline Plaza has provided an incredible opportunity to continue growing as a company throughout North America, while keeping the heart of the company rooted where our journey began,” President\/CEO, David Meinika, said. “We’re proud to call Fort Wayne home and embrace the chance to be a part of bringing more opportunities downtown for our community.”<\/p>\n

DMA serves Fortune 1000 clients like Siemens, Yum! Brands, American Electric Power, Finish Line and Morton Salt, and operates across 18 North American offices, as well as five in Canada. The company’s services include assisting its clients with minimizing their taxes, enhancing the efficiency of tax administration with technology and managing their compliance obligations.<\/p>\n

“Through Indiana Regional Cities Initiative projects like the new Ash Skyline Plaza, downtown Fort Wayne is being transformed into an even more vibrant place to live, work and play, propelling Northeast Indiana on its road to one million residents,” said Jim Schellinger, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “Companies like DMA face a world of options for growth, but they continue to choose the Hoosier state because of our pro-growth business climate. DMA’s new headquarters in the Ash Skyline Plaza will provide an energetic base for the company’s growing team, attracting and retaining top talent in Indiana as part of our skilled Hoosier workforce.”<\/p>\n

DMA will be receiving an incentive package valued at $430,500 from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Northeast Indiana Works, and the City of Fort Wayne. The project is eligible under current City of Fort Wayne Phase-in policy for a 10-year real and personal property phase-in to be considered by Fort Wayne Common Council.<\/p>\n
