Uber now authorized to operate at Fort Wayne International Airport<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(January 19, 2016) – The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority has reached an agreement with ridesharing company, Uber. The agreement will allow Uber and its drivers to pick up passengers at Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA).<\/p>\n

“Uber’s availability at FWA increases our ground transportation options for our passengers, continuing our commitment to deliver excellent customer service to everyone who travels through our airport,” said Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of Airports for the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority.<\/p>\n

Uber drivers are not required to display a permit to pick-up passengers, but must have their Uber credentials on-hand if needed. Passengers may be picked up at the curb in front of the terminal building. This expands FWA’s ground transportation to include taxis and limousines, hotel shuttles, car rentals, and now ride-booking services.<\/p>\n
