Barricaded Subject, 5400 block of Webster Street<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: 5400 block of Webster Street<\/p>\n

Subject<\/strong>: Adult Male<\/p>\n

Arrested<\/strong>: Subject placed on a 24 hour Immediate Detention Order<\/p>\n

Details<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

On 11\/22\/2015 at approximately 8:09 PM, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 5400 block of Webster Street. in regards to a suicidal subject making threats to harm himself. The complainant party and the mother of the subject called police with concerns about statements the subject was making about killing himself, along with Facebook posts of similar statements and pictures of the subject with various types of guns.<\/p>\n

Police attempted to make contact with the subject who refused to come out and then began to make threatening statements towards police. A perimeter was formed around the residence and the Emergency Service Team and the Crisis Response Team were paged out. Phone communication was established with the subject through dispatch and was then transferred over to the Crisis Response Team, once the teams were in place. <\/p>\n

A brief negotiation ensued and the subject came out of the residence and relinquished his firearm to Police. There were no injuries or further incident that occurred. The subject was taken into custody and placed on an Immediate 24 hour Detention Order at the hospital for psychological evaluation. This concluded the investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
