American began daily nonstop service to CLT from FWA on October 2, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This added capacity speaks to the strength of our market and is a direct result of the community&#8217;s support of its local airport,&#8221; said Executive Director of Airports Scott Hinderman. &#8220;We&#8217;re thrilled to help American Airlines continue to grow in Fort Wayne and provide even more flight options to the southeast.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>American will operate the additional flight with a 50-seat regional jet.
