Three Rivers Family Fun: Bike, Walk or Run!<\/strong>
\nLawton Park, Clinton and 4th Street<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Bring your family downtown to participate in the 2nd Annual Three Rivers Family Fun: Bike, Walk, or Run event to be held on the Rivergreenway Saturday, July 18, 9 am – noon. Choose among a 2-mile walk to Swinney Park, a 3.5-mile run to Johnny Appleseed Park or a 6.5-mile (13 mile roundtrip) bicycle ride to Kreager Park. Stations will be placed at the end of each route where participants can enjoy refreshments as they complete their chosen course. Walkers and runners will be provided with transportation back to Lawton Park; however, cyclists will be required to bike the roundtrip distance of 13 miles as no transportation will be available for cyclists. A helmet is required for every cyclist. Trailers for children are permitted on the bike ride and strollers are permitted on both the walk and run events. The event will conclude with a raffle, offering several prizes for lucky participants.<\/p>\n

The cost is $5 for individuals or $10 for families. To register, call 427-6011. On-line registration is available for individual registrations only. Registrations will also be accepted on the day of the event beginning at 8:15 a.m. All participants must check in prior to the start of each event so please arrive between 8:15 – 8:45. You will also want to arrive early to secure a parking spot. This official Three Rivers Festival event is sponsored by Fred Toenges Shoes and Pedorthics and Summit City Bicycles & Fitness.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
