Officers arrived on scene and located a male\/adult victim inside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.  The Homicide Team and Crime Scene Units were summoned to assist in this death investigation.  <\/p>\n<p>Detectives are currently interviewing potential witnesses and neighbors.  Crime Scene Technicians are processing the scene and collecting evidence.<\/p>\n<p>This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney&#8217;s Office, and the Allen County Coroner&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The Allen County Coroner&#8217;s Office will release the victim&#8217;s identity along with the cause and manner of death.
