July 1-31 -\u00c2\u00a0Early Bird Hours Members Only!<\/strong>
\nThe zoo opens at 8:00 a.m. for Members Only. Note: Buildings and concessions open at 9:00 a.m.; rides open at 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n

July 8 -\u00c2\u00a0Wild Wednesday Members Only!<\/strong>
\nThe zoo is open until 7:00 p.m. for Members Only. Last admission 7:00 p.m. Rides and buildings remain open until 7:30 p.m.; Members may remain on grounds until 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

July 10 –<\/strong> Backstage Pass<\/strong>
\nStep behind the gates that say “Employees Only” to see what happens backstage at the zoo. Take a tour of the Zoo Diet Kitchen, peer into the 17,000 gallon fish tank from the Aquarium workroom, and chat with zoo keepers during special presentations. Tours run continuously from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Free with zoo admission.<\/p>\n

July 20 -\u00c2\u00a0Zoo Loo Au Members Only!<\/strong>
\nJoin us for a day of food and fun! Show your membership Card and Photo ID and get your FREE Meal and ride tickets under the tents on the picnic grounds, adjacent to the zoo entrance. Picnic meal (hot dog, chips, drinks, frozen treat) served 11:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Special performances on the picnic grounds at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 p.m. Click here for more information.<\/p>\n

July 29 -\u00c2\u00a0Grossology 101<\/strong>
\nSlime, mucus, and dookie are just a few of the gross things we encounter every day at the zoo. How much do you know about the field of grossology? Come and find out! 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Free with zoo admission.<\/p>\n

August 6 -\u00c2\u00a0Jelani’s Birthday<\/strong>
\nHelp us celebrate Jelani the giraffe’s birthday! Sign Jelani’s giraffe-sized birthday card, watch as keepers deliver a special birthday treat, and join our “Happy Birthday” sing-along. 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Free with zoo admission.<\/p>\n
