TWO TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN FELL OVER THE AREA ON SATURDAY&#8230;RESULTING IN A COMBINATION OF STREAM&#8230;RIVER&#8230;LOWLAND AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING THAT WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. A STATE OF\u00c2\u00a0EMERGENCY HAS BEEN DECLARED IN HENRY COUNTY OHIO.<\/p>\n<p>* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE&#8230;FORT WAYNE&#8230;DEFIANCE&#8230;NEW HAVEN&#8230;AUBURN&#8230;STURGIS&#8230;COLDWATER&#8230;VAN WERT&#8230;KENDALLVILLE&#8230;NAPOLEON&#8230;ANGOLA&#8230;BRYAN&#8230;HILLSDALE&#8230;THREE RIVERS&#8230;WAUSEON&#8230;DELPHOS&#8230;GARRETT&#8230;OTTAWA&#8230;ARCHBOLD&#8230;BLUFFTON&#8230;DESHLER AND MONTPELIER.<\/p>\n<p>PRECAUTIONARY\/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE&#8230;TURN AROUND&#8230;DONT DROWN.<\/p>\n<p>EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE EXTENSIVE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS&#8230;HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES IN URBAN AREAS.
