TinCaps All-Stars help lead east to victory<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(June 24, 2015) – Nick Torres and Thomas Dorminy were both on display on Tuesday night when their East Division All-Star squad defeated the West, 5-0. <\/p>\n

Dorminy entered the game with two outs in the fifth inning with the East leading 2-0. He struck out the only batter he faced, Caleb Adams, to keep the East’s shutout alive.<\/p>\n

Torres then entered the game in the sixth inning. The Lakewood, California, native drew a walk in the ninth and scored a run to extend the East’s lead to 3-0. His team added two more to preserve the victory. <\/p>\n

Fort Wayne begins the second half of the season on the road against Great Lakes on Thursday. The TinCaps are one of the hottest teams in the Midwest League, having gone 20-11 over their last 31 games. <\/p>\n
