We are in a wait and see mode for round two later this evening. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across northern Illinois and move into the area later this evening. The atmosphere is still favorable for severe weather, with damaging winds the primary threat. These storms are expected to move into the area from 8 PM to 3 AM EDT.
